Medical missionaries are badly needed in several parts of the world, especially in Africa, where doctor to community member ratios are poor even in areas that are fortunate enough to have access to a physician. Nurses and physical therapists are also needed.

FMWM sends medical personnel who are educated and properly licensed in the U.S., with at least two years of work experience in their field. Our medical outreaches include compassionate service combined with evangelism and training of indigenous workers.

Are you ready and willing to go but held back by education debt?  We have a possible solution! Visit Operation MedSend's website to learn about their program.

Here are just a few of the medical opportunities we have right now:

Mozambique: Nhaloi Hospital, located about 10 miles from the Indian Ocean, is the only medical facility available for about 100,000 people. Doctors and nurses are badly needed to supplement the minimal medical staff currently serving there.

Rwanda: Kibogora Hospital needs physicians and nurses.

Other possible opportunities exist in Haiti and in creative access countries. We also send medical workers short-term through VISA Ministries.

Imagine the difference you could make for people suffering greatly who could be helped by your skills and care! Will you leave the status and comforts afforded you at home and give your talents and training to God's Kingdom?
