Free Methodist World Missions is seeking cutting-edge churches who want to pioneer a new model of missions. We are interested in those who want engage more fully than before, and holistically partner with efforts to further the gospel of Christ and the FMC abroad.
Under the new model of direct partnership, an individual local church (or group of churches) will prayerfully undertake a multi-year commitment to become a ministry partner with developing Free Methodist work in another part of the world. This will involve direct contact between the church and the partnering country’s leadership, a shared vision for ministry, continued opportunities for cross-cultural interaction, and many other creative avenues for growth and relationship.
The partnering church’s main areas of engagement will be prayer, relational development, and helping to provide an appropriate support foundation for the expansion of the church in the other country. It is our hope that this level of working together to further the kingdom of God will lead to a greater sense of excitement and missions buy-in at the local church level, and the full spectrum of resources needed to do the work of winning souls, planting churches and raising up leaders around the world. FMWM leaders stand ready to facilitate and support these vital connections.
