VISA offers two events under the University umbrella.
Team Leader Training (TLT) is a 2-3 day workshop designed to help people prepare for the enormous responsibilities involved in leading a church or conference team to serve the national church abroad. This training upholds the highest standards in short-term mission. TLT is beneficial to potential team leaders as well as team members.
Global Studies Intensive (GSI) is a training event and time for intensive study on different topics surrounding missions in the world today. The main purpose of the training is to give people who are interested in missions a foundation for continued learning with in depth introductions to the theology of missions, culture, strategy, history of FM missions and exposure to various ministries.
